Middle East and Armageddon

Iran, Iraq, and Israel!!! WOW what a powder keg. Everything from democracy, to oil, to Nuclear weapons, is this Armageddon in the making?

According to Webster, Armageddon refers generally to end times or giant catastrophes in various religions and cultures. The Middle East is where everything started. Garden of Eden? Most of the Old Testament? Many people believe this is the core to where much of our protestant belief started.

How do the Christians of today relate to what is going on? Do we even know everything that is going on? The Middle East is thousands of miles away from us but is very much touching most everyone in the United States somehow! We may have friends and family serving in the military! We may have known some who have died in these current wars. Are we as Christians just suppose to stand by and let things happen? I hope not. Why were the Prophetic passages about Armageddon placed in the Bible? What can we do about it locally? Hmmm…..

First of all, we know about the future because God allowed us a glimpse into what will happen in our future! Why? We as Christian have a great and awesome opportunity for helping others. We have the answers to the current and future problems that we see today. This is why it is a must to for us to learn what the Bible is about. It is up to us to be the source of truth for those who are reluctant to read the Bible or go to church for themselves. We have Christians in so many areas of life today. We should be making a difference in our nation, in our world. But it doesn’t seem like we are. We are more concerned with not hurting people’s feelings or being politically correct! Well, I hope you remember this when you’re standing in Heaven and your co-workers are sent to Hell!!

I urge you to explore what the Bible has to offer us! How can we be a mirror for God to the people around us? We need to be able to answer book for them. In order to do that we need to know the answers ourselves. In future blogs I will try and give simple answer to some of the harder hitting questions out there. It will be up to us to share these answers with anyone who has questions.

I had the pleasure of going into Bahrain and Iraq. I was able to talk to some of the people living in there. They are just like us. They have questions, they have needs. We need to be able to think clearly, to be able to see the world through God’s vision!

First let me say thank you for taking time in your crazy world to share ideas about how to live life better in this every changing and crazy world.

We can all agree that there is a lot of things happening around the world. What are we suppose to do? How can we live our lives better?

With this blog I hope to accomplish a few things. I'm looking at talking about current events and what we as christians can do! Also, there are a lot of different things that we go through every day. How can we work through these things and still live a life of glory for God.

Please be patent! This is my first blog and I hope to be able to keep up with this. I have a bunch of things going on, as well as everyone else.
